IVSA 4th General Meeting - Gingerbread House Decorating Competition!
Save the date for IVSA's last GM of the Fall semester! It will be hosted by BUVSA on Saturday, 12/3/11, from 1:00-2:30 PM in Room 322, GSU, 775 Commonwealth Ave., Boston, MA 02215.
We will be welcoming our new IVSA secretary, Lehuong Huynh, discussing different ways you can help out at Tet in Boston 2012, and going over some ideas for fundraisers for the spring. There will also be a gingerbread house decorating competition so bring your creative self!!!
IVSA Winter Masquerade Ball Saturday, 12/10/11, 9PM-12AM, BU
BU Vietnamese Student Association and IVSA are co-hosting to bring you
Winter Masquerade Ball! Get ready to dress up in your fine attire and
meet VSA members from other colleges for a fun night of music, dancing,
and socializing! This annual event is held to fundraise for our Vietnamese-American Dreams Scholarship. There's still a week for you to volunteer to be a dance auction and get in for free, please email us by Wed, 11/30/11!
Invite your friends; this ball is open to the BU community, IVSA
members, and basically to all college students! College ID is required.

Location: Metcalf Hall, George Sherman Union, 775 Commonwealth Ave., Boston, MA 02215. Admission is $10/person.

Tet in Boston Festival will be held on Saturday, 1/28/12 at the Harbor
Pilot Middle School at 11 Charles St., Dorchester, MA. If you are
interested in sponsoring a children's game table (good fundraising
opportunity!) at the event or perform for Tet, please contact tetinboston@gmail.com to get a vendor form!
Calling all potential models for TET FASHION SHOW!!! We are having an audition for Tet in Boston fashion show on Sunday, December 18 at 12:30 PM at Northeastern University, 346 Curry Student Center. Please come with at least 3-inch heels if you are interested, ladies! If you own an ao dai, bring it with you to the audition as well. We'll need around 7 to 10 girls for the show. Please keep in mind that you will have to be able to make it to two Sunday practices prior to 1/28 plus additional practices on weekday evenings.
We currently have two open positions on our Eboard for 2011-2012 - PR Officer and Secretary. Jenny Le, our past PR Officer has taken a new position on our board as the Scholarship Chair. We would like to invite all interested members to apply. uNAVSA's CPP - Hold On To Hope Campaign
The Collective Philanthropy Project (CPP) is an initiative for Vietnamese-student and community organizations to collaborate and partner with in working toward a charitable cause. The idea was to create momentum for a collective national effort under one philanthropic campaign. The CPP campaign assists North American Vietnamese non-profit organizations or philanthropy organizations to better achieve their mission through collective and collaborative partnership with uNAVSA and its constituent groups.
Participate in the “Hold on to Hope” Campaign where we would like to ask you to take a picture of yourself holding on to something that gives you hope, posting it to the Facebook group and as your profile picture. There will be ongoing financial donors to support the amount of Facebook pictures that gets uploaded. Please see the “Hold on to Hope” Facebook group and event to learn more!
